How to remove your Audi car radio without the keys
For Audi owners who have the original Audi Concept 1 car radio and want to install alpine, sony, pioneer, jvc, peekton or other brand car radios to have mp3, assist, ipod iphone and more without the need keys to put the Station concept removed from its location?
Don't panic, it comes off easily. in 2 minutes!
For this you will need:
- Metal nail file
- Cuticle pusher
- A second cuticle pusher is easier (one may be enough if you are able).
Start by pushing your metal nail file into the left or right slot, it doesn't matter until you feel the tension in the valve (you can feel the tension by moving it from left to right).
Once the metal file is in place, move it slightly from right to right and from left to left. As you apply this pressure, slide the cuticle pusher between the car radio and the console and use it as a lever to pull the radio out of its (din) position.

Do the same on the other side and pull the Concept Station towards you.
Now all you have to do is disconnect the back of the concept car radio.
This connection is difficult to untangle, again using the cuticle pusher to undo it.
Finally here is a short description of these connectors.
In the yellow frame, this connection is necessary for the operation of the rear speakers and the subwoofer in the trunk.
Inside the red frame are two ISO standard connectors, one for the power supply with only two cables and the other for the front speakers and the tweeter.
The two small cables on the right are dedicated to the FM antenna.
To connect other brands of car radios, you will definitely need an additional wiring harness to adjust the connection between them.
